In addition to new features that are regularly published on Proficloud.io, our UI/UX designers and usability-enthusiastic colleagues are particularly happy when usability can be increased. This involves, for example, general improvements to the usability of the platform.
Anton Schönenberg is leading one of our innovation teams and wrote a very interesting and insightful article that was published by Elektrotechnik Automatisierung recently.
Finally we can release our first add-on, just in time for winter and the holidays! We are both proud and excited, because the DMS Basic Add-on for the Device Management Service adds many frequently requested features to Proficloud.io.
We are happy to present a new Smart Service – or better an add-on for the Device Management Service!
The add-on called “DMS Basic Add-on” extends the functionality of the free Device Management Service and is expected to be available for all in December 2022.
Our User Guiding is of course also available in the Device Management Service. The content of the guides is also divided into Overview Guides and Interactive Guides.
The Device Management Service comes up with an improvement of the firmware update process – not only on the usability side, but also in terms of security and reliability.
If you want to get an overview of the actions performed on a device, you can now use the Device Management Service to see even more easily and quickly what happened on the device in the past (or in “Liveview”). You can use this information ideally to view the device status or as help for trouble shooting.
Due to increased user requests, we have now implemented the creation of virtual devices natively in the Device Management Service, so that a virtual device can be created within a few seconds.
You can now add your existing PLCnext devices to the new Proficloud.io and enjoy the benefits of the new Proficloud. Keep an eye on the health of your devices so you can prevent downtime and warnings or respond in a timely manner. Furthermore, you can trigger future firmware updates easily…
