In a joint project of companies and researchers from the region OWL (Ostwestfalen-Lippe) came together with the common goal to optimize energy efficiency and therefore, reduce greenhouse gases in the industry.
In the first step, a system is to be developed that records emissions in production along the entire value chain. In the second step, an intelligent assistance system is planned, which will then allocate the detected emissions to manufactured products based on their origin, derive efficiency potential and show how pollutant emissions can be avoided.
The joint project is designed for 3 years and is supported with a total of 3.16 million euros.
