In our latest project, we implemented advanced hardware solutions to enhance energy efficiency in cold storage for a leading snack manufacturer. The EMpro energy meters play a crucial role in monitoring energy consumption in large cooling chambers, which are significant energy consumers in production. By closely tracking consumption patterns, we identify potential savings opportunities, such as adjusting cooling settings, optimizing maintenance schedules and upgrading equipment.

The EMpro energy meter operates using a Rogowski coil that encircles the appliance to be monitored, generating a signal based on the current flowing through the appliance’s conductor. This non-contact method allows for energy consumption detection without disrupting operation, making it ideal for continuous monitoring. Additionally, the EMpro energy meters seamlessly transfer collected energy data to Proficloud.io for efficient management and analysis. This integration enables fast insights into the hardware device itself, creating an efficient solution for monitoring and analyzing energy consumption with the EMMA Service.
